The below information it taken from IMLS.  The information it edited and reviewed for format and context.

What makes a listing fall under Single family with acreage?

Are people having a hard time finding comps for Acreage homes?

Do you think my inventory report for Single Family with Acreage is off?

Most of the problem....the listings with Acreage is listed under Single Family!

There is 200 Active listing today under "Single Family", which belong under the "Single Family with Acreage"

On the other hand...there is 264 listings under the Single Family with Acreage without 1 acre land size. Do you think this is correct?

It cracks me up when 0.18 acres gets listed as "Acreage Home" (2XX Magnolia).

I’m aware you can drop the listing by looking only for 1+ acres as a filter in MLS…but if you make the mistake and filter by SF or SFACR, you will drop listings maybe you should be looking at.
